How to Increase Palworld FOV on Pine Hosting: Change the Client, Not the Server

Find the right place to adjust Palworld camera FOV, distinguish client graphics from server settings, and avoid outdated ultrawide INI fixes.

Based on official documentation and providers’ published information; community reports are labelled separately. Confirm current prices and configuration. We have not rented or tested the listed hosting services.

01 Does Pine Hosting control your field of view?

For ordinary camera field of view, start on your own Palworld client. A rented server’s XP or world settings are not the same as your graphics preferences. We found no FOV parameter in Pocketpair’s current documented server settings list ↗, and did not find an official Pine panel instruction for a server-wide FOV control. That is a documentation finding, not proof that no mod can ever alter a camera.

If you searched “how to increase my Palworld server FOV on Pinehosting,” do not add an invented FOV field to PalWorldSettings.ini. First identify whether you mean camera angle, view distance, or players/entities failing to update. Those problems call for different checks.

02 Check the graphics menu before editing files

  1. Open the game’s local settings and inspect Graphics/Camera for Field of View.
  2. Record your original value and aspect ratio.
  3. Adjust the available slider, apply it and compare the same location and camera direction.
  4. On an ultrawide display, check whether your build exposes a Vertical Field of View option. Test it rather than assuming the label has an identical effect on every display.
  5. If the setting appears unchanged, restart the client once and compare again.

The menu guidance is corroborated by a July 2026 ultrawide discussion ↗, where users describe different results. It is community-reported behaviour, not a Pine-hosted test or a promise of identical controls on PC, PS5 and Xbox. Use the options your own build actually displays.

03 Why old Engine.ini recipes should not be your first step

The same discussion reports an older AspectRatioAxisConstraint workaround no longer behaving as expected after 1.0. A copied INI recipe can therefore solve the wrong version’s problem. Back up your local configuration before experimentation, make one change at a time, and restore it if the result is worse. Do not delete server saves to reset a camera preference.

A mod that changes camera behaviour needs its own current-version compatibility check. Ask whether it is a client mod, whether the server permits client mods and whether every player needs it. A wider camera is not worth making an unsupported change to your only working installation.

04 When the symptom actually belongs to the server

If the camera feels cramped but movement and interactions are normal, continue with client settings. If objects snap back, actions arrive late or everyone disconnects, collect network and server evidence instead. Compare one player’s symptom with the rest of the group before buying a bigger plan. A larger hosting tier does not automatically change your camera angle.

For finding or joining a Pine server, return to Community listing diagnostics. For configuration changes that actually affect progression, use the XP-rate guide.
